Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, born on December 9, 1974, in Faisalabad, Pakistan, is a renowned Pakistani singer and musician. He hails from a prestigious musical lineage as the nephew of legendary qawwali maestro, Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has established himself as a prominent figure in the world of Qawwali, Sufi music, and playback singing.

Born into a family with 600 years of heritage in classical & sufi singing, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has become a Qawali legend of his own. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan made a name for himself with iconic soundtracks from Bollywood, Hollywood, and other TV serials and films from Pakistani and India. In 2014 he became the first Pakistani to perform at a Nobel Prize concert, where he performed Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s most memorable Qawali, “Tumhe Dillagi” and “Mast Qalandar”. He has won numerous awards over the years, including Lux Style Awards, UK Asian Music Awards, ARY Film Awards, and Hum Awards.
