“Count Abdulla” revolves around the life of Abdulla Khan, a British-Pakistani Muslim doctor in his mid-20s who finds himself in the midst of an identity crisis.
Caught between the demands of his deeply religious mother, Bushra Khan (portrayed by Nina Wadia), and his desire to enjoy life to the fullest with his carefree, party-loving friends, Abdulla struggles to reconcile these conflicting aspects of his life.However, everything changes for Abdulla when he encounters a mysterious punk vampire girl, played by Jaime Winstone. In a fateful encounter, Abdulla is bitten by this enigmatic character, forever altering his existence.
