
Punjabi Thumakda 2023 will take place on Sunday 13th August 2023 at OVO Arena, Wembley, London. The event will showcase three prominent celebrities hailing from India and Pakistan, who are among the most renowned figures in the music industry: Arif Lohar, Jasmine Sandlas and Kaka Singh.
Arif Lohar
Arif Lohar is a renowned Pakistani folk singer and musician hailing from the province of Punjab. Born in Lala Musa, Punjab, Arif Lohar comes from a family deeply rooted in the musical tradition. He is the son of legendary folk singer Alam Lohar, who was a prominent figure in Punjabi folk music.

His exceptional talent and distinct style have earned him recognition, with some of his popular tracks including “Libaas,” “Temporary Pyar,” “Teeji Seat,” “Mere Warga,” and “Keh Len De,” Mitti De Tibbe” among many others.
Born in Chandumajra, Rajpura, Punjab, Kaka Singh embarked on his musical journey after completing his schooling at Ashoka Public School. He went on to pursue a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering, and even worked as an architect at the Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority following his graduation.
Kaka Singh’s foray into the music industry began with the release of the single “Surma” in collaboration with Adaab Kharud in November 2019. He gained further prominence in October 2020 with the release of his track “Keh Len De” under the Haani Records label. Another notable milestone in his career came in December 2020 when he released the song “Libaas,” which went on to feature on YouTube’s weekly Global Music Chart.
Kaka Singh’s music has garnered immense popularity, with his track “Teeji Seat” securing the number one position on Gaana’s Top 50 Punjabi chart. His distinctive sound and captivating compositions have captivated audiences and established him as a rising star in the Punjabi music industry.
